Types of Integration Available for Card Payments

When using GP-Billing there are a few different methods that can be used to take card payments, these are: 

1. Using the virtual terminal.
   
2. Taking card payments using a PDQ and then, using GP-Billing to record the authorization number.
   

Both methods will allow the transaction to be located within GP-Billing using the Auth No. of the payment (if used).

Using a virtual terminal allows payments to be processed and authorized without using a PDQ machine. GP-Billing will integrate with the payment system and automatically open the Virtual Terminal for payment when the payment record is posted.  The authorization details such as the Auth No. will then be sent back to GP-Billing and recorded against the payment.

Alternatively, a card reader can be used to take the payment separately to GP-Billing. If this is done when creating the payment record, the payment authorization number can be added to the Auth no. box, this will keep a record of the payment.
