"Could not initiate a connection to the Medical system." error

There are multiple variations of the error that start with "Could not initiate a connection to the Medical system."

To resolve the error: "Could not initiate a connection to the Medical System."
  1. Please ensure the medical system is opened and logged in
  2. Ensure that only one copy of the medical system is opened, if the computer is shared, please ensure that none of the signed-in users have the medical system open.
  3. Please check the permissions in the EMAS manager, which are set for each user induvidually. More information on the EMAS manager can be found here: EMIS API.

If you are getting an error that says "Could not initiate a connection to the Medical System. Invalid OrganisationID" please ensure that the Organisation ID matches the medical system.
